Rosemary Lodge Counselling
Welcome
I am a non-pathologizing queer-friendly and neuro-diverse friendly experienced practitioner who has been working in private practice since 2008. I believe that mental distress is primarily caused by social inequalities, discrimination and oppression, and I seek to work with my clients in a collaborative, empowering dialogical relationship. I do not believe in labelling or pathologising people. I am interested in getting to know you and learning about what has happened and how you experience yourself and your life. I believe that such conversations can have profoundly healing impacts.

Individual counselling sessions
I see individuals for one to one short term or long term work. Sessions last for 50 minutes. I see adults, older adults and adolescents and am neuro-diverse friendly.
Relationship counselling
For two people who wish to work on their relationship together. Sessions last for an hour. I see heterosexual, same sex, queer, and polyamorous couples.

Supervision
For clinical or research supervision. I see qualified counsellors, psychotherapists and counselling psychologists for clinical supervision (for those working in private practice, the NHS, schools and other settings). I also offer research supervision at Masters and Doctoral level.
